Most people work and complain about their jobs.
I know I did that twice; Public Bank and Standard Chartered.
What I complained about them?
For Public Bank, I complained about the low salary and lotsa works. I justified my resignation by telling myself, I worth much more than what they are paying. (But what can I expect? I'm just a teller.)
So I quit, and joined the sales team in Standard Chartered.
At first I complained about how fucked up my boss is. Well, this still remain true until today. I'll remember him for a very long time as the most fucked up and useless boss who wasted his company money for even paying him more than what he is worth of. His name is KALAI. Remember. A bald and tall Indian.
I still feel something is wrong with them. My fault is just maybe I'm not hardworking enough... But how to be motivated when you stay in a company where everyone snake around? Hehehehe.
My new company... Floor Depot. I stopped complaining about anything nor did I praise them. I realized at first I praised Public Bank and Standard Chartered and end up fucking them. So, the best way is to keep quiet. No backfiring at myself :p
How to remain motivated in a company?
Hmm... From my observation and reading... If an individual doesn't know what they want, no company can help them or motivate them. So is advisable that a company helps to let them find out about what they want from themselves, not what the company wants.
I drafted out my own 18 months plan. I linked my plan with the company, on how the company can be a benefit to me. I am clear of what I want in this 18 months. I am clear of what I want to learn too...
This motivates me to work harder, learn better... not to achieve what the company pays us to achieve... But what I want to achieve.
Salary plays a role in motivation... But goals are important.
Your job can't help you? Quit. Look for one that you can link with your goal.
Life is short. Don't waste your time. Do the right thing!
