The World of Gray

After miles of endless journey,
I stopped and separate myself
From the reach of my fellows
I was too exhausted to carry on.

Under the eighth moon’s light,
A glimpse of you captured my sight,
And you offered me shelter
In a place you called home.

You brought me into a world of new horizon
Much different from my own,
Or should I say,
The opposite.

A world where there is neither black nor white,
But only gray.
There are no boundaries in this place,
Where only governed by ‘Feel’.

There is only excitement in your place,
Together we sat above the highland,
Together we walked through the maze.
At night, there are joy and dance.
A place so tempting,
That makes me wanted to stay.

Sadly but I must,
Continue to travel the path I had taken.
Sadly but I must,
To leave this place.
Sadly but I know,
I do not belong to this world of gray.

I offered my hand,
To bring you along.
I do not wish to leave you,
‘cause I want to be with you,
For affection had grown deeply within me,
An affection of mine for you.

Though you had never replied,
But I guess you will rather stay,
Though you live in a different world,
No one escape from the fear of change,
And temptation to stay the same.

Your world looks more promising to you,
For there will be no ending,
Nor beginning.
In your own world of gray,
In your own world with the absence,
Of black and white.

A change in mind,
Had made the directions,
A change in mind,
Had made the distance,
So close yet so far away…
You are adapting to your horizon,
I am craving for my kingdom.

I looked carefully in your eyes,
And I see loneliness within you,
I wish I could fulfill
The empty part of you.
But I could not,
For I couldn’t find
The key to enter the barricades
Of your frozen heart.

You had made your mind.
So I left for my own purpose,
And you stay for your own salvation,

I can only lament,
That memories and moments,
Are only meant for keep.
