Clean and Empty Your Email Inbox

Normally we are afraid to open our email inbox because a lot of emails were left unread and cluttered inside our inbox. Sitting there, staring at us, telling us that something need to be done. Thank Lord that i found an article at Lifeclever about tips on "30 Seconds To An Empty Email Inbox."

It teaches, make folders for each day, then put all emails into the folders and Ta~Da! Empty inbox. If not reading, ignore it.

Well, i don't like rubbish and i don't like things left undone and unorganized. So, i adjust to suit my style, for non-working purpose.

Here's how it is done;

1) Create folders according to Months rather than Days. It'll be much more organized this way. Also, rename your folders with numbers to begin with so it won't auto-arrange by alphabets.

2) Move all your emails to the folder according to the Month you received the email.

3) Ta~Da! Clean Inbox.

You may need to take about 15 minutes to 30 minutes to do this, depends on the size of your rubbish sitting in your inbox.

Now that your inbox is empty, i recommend schedule yourself to check your email once every night and clear all your inbox on that day itself. So, you'll have empty inbox everyday. Emails that you want, you keep into the folder. Emails that you don't want, don't hesitate to click Delete.

For the rest of the old emails, maybe you can view them and decide on whether to keep or to delete them after reading them. You can do this when you are free, or schedule a time, and set a goal on how many folders you want to view on particular session.

Have a nice day clearing your email inbox! :D
